Remove GPS metadata before sharing a photo

A photo can reveal a precise place when GPS latitude and longitude are embedded in its metadata. This is separate from what is visibly shown in the pixels.

Use the scanner to check whether location fields are present. If they are, create a new copy locally and consider verifying the downloaded file with a second metadata reader before publishing sensitive images.
