Privacy Policy: Complete Data Protection and Cookie Disclosures
Last reviewed: September 16, 2026
Our fundamental privacy commitment
CleanMyPhoto (cleanmyphoto.online) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our website operates, what data is processed when you use our browser-based utility, how advertising cookies are used, and your legal rights under applicable data protection regulations.
Our guiding principle is simple: your media files belong to you. We do not want, collect, or store your photos, videos, or personal media data.
Zero-upload file processing policy
When you drop, select, or inspect a photo or video in CleanMyPhoto, the file is processed 100% locally inside your web browser using HTML5 client-side technologies (CanvasRenderingContext2D, FileReader, ArrayBuffer, and DataView APIs).
At no point during the scanning, inspection, or cleaning workflow are your file bytes, image pixels, video frames, extracted EXIF metadata, GPS coordinates, or file names transmitted across the internet to CleanMyPhoto servers or any third-party infrastructure. All processing occurs in volatile device memory and is released when you close or refresh the page.
Standard web server and hosting logs
Like virtually all websites, when you visit cleanmyphoto.online, our hosting and content delivery network (CDN) providers automatically receive and log standard technical request information. This includes your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, and the date and time of the request.
This technical data is processed solely for the legitimate interests of delivering web assets, ensuring server stability, diagnosing network errors, and mitigating distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. This standard network data is never combined with any media file contents.
Third-party advertising and Google AdSense disclosures
This website uses Google AdSense, an advertising service provided by Google Inc. (Google), to serve advertisements to visitors. To comply with Google AdSense program policies and international privacy regulations, please note the following mandatory disclosures:
- • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet.
- • Google use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to cleanmyphoto.online and other sites on the web.
- • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com or https://www.google.com/settings/ads.
- • Alternatively, users can opt out of a third-party vendor use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) opt-out portal at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) at https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/.
- • Google may use the DoubleClick cookie on AdSense partner websites and certain Google services to serve relevant advertisements. You can manage or disable DoubleClick cookies through your browser privacy settings or the Google privacy dashboard.
Cookies and how you can manage them
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites function efficiently and to provide reporting information to site owners.
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can adjust your browser controls to accept, block, or delete cookies. For instructions, consult the help menu of your browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge). Please note that rejecting cookies does not disable the core client-side photo and video cleaning tool, which operates entirely without cookies.
